Rockford’s James Robinson Will Play On Primetime Tonight
Rockford's James Robinson is making some noise in the NFL and now he gets his chance to shine on primetime television Thursday night.
Tonight's Thursday night matchup between the Dolphins and Jaguars will have more Rockford homes tuned in than most non-Bears or Packers Thursday night games.
Robinson has been a surprise in the NFL this season. Drafted as a backup to Leonard Fournette, Robinso suddenly found himself at the top of the depth chart when the Jaguars released Fournette in a move that surprised many.
Robinson currently ranks 8th in the NFL for rushing yards through 2 games this season and already has a highlight reel that he hopes to add to tonight.
Kickoff is at 7:20 tonight on the NFL Network. The last time a Rockford area athlete made noise on the national stage, he went on to win a title. Fred VanVleet sees Robinson out there and knows he has what it takes.
