Fake news and Donald Trump's nails-on-a-chalkboard relationship with the media are what makes headlines in the U.S. Things are a little different Down Under, though.

Amber Sherlock is an anchor for Australia's Channel Nine News who got more than just a wee bit annoyed when reporter Julie Snook showed up for a segment in a white shirt because Sherlock and another guest, psychologist Sandy Rea, were also wearing white.

Sherlock gives her quite a dressing-down in the off-air confrontation, like she's the bride and one of the guests had the audacity to wear white to upstage her.

Snook claims she had forgotten she wasn't supposed to wear white and gives in to Sherlock's demands by slipping on a black jacket, putting an end to an extremely uncomfortable exchange.

Sherlock has come to realize she may have gone over the top. "Live TV can be a pretty stressful beast, at times," she said. "And as anyone knows, it’s never much fun rocking up to work or to a party in the same outfit as one of your colleagues or friends. I probably overreacted with the pressure of presenting a live news bulletin."

We're glad  she managed to keep the matter in perspective. We were worried because we don't want anything to stop us from believing all Australians are awesome.
