Your Updated NUIC Basketball Rankings

The AP State basketball rankings were released Wednesday.

East Dubuque's boy's team (22-2) moved up to third from fourth in the 1A poll.

Three girls teams from the NUIC are in the states 1A top ten. Stockton (26-2) after a win over Eastland is now the highest ranked and the Stateline's top NUIC team moving up to fifth from eighth.

Eastland fell one spot to eighth. East Dubuque stayed in ninth. Galena knocked off East Dubuque Tuesday. ED had recently beaten both Stockton and Eastland.

Other Stateline teams who are ranked a lofty second are Boylan unbeaten in 4A girls and Winnebago (18-1) boys in 2A.
