
Week 5 NIC-10 Recap

Hononegah and Auburn remain on a collision course as they both stay unblemished after five outings. They meet in week seven.
Friday in the NIC-10 Hononegah trailed for the first time this season. But, they came up with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to edge Belvidere North 26-21.
Auburn rolled past Belvidere 54-14.
Freeport had a solid one-two punch from quarterback Major Dedmond and running back Deion McShane to defeat Jefferson 41-30. Dedmond had 167 yards rushing with McShane adding 147.
East held Guilford at the six-inch line on third down late in the game. They held again on fourth down to escape with an 8-7 win.
Harlem knocked off Boylan 21-17. Kamrone McAllister scored the winning touchdown on a five-yard run with 1:08 left in the game. Troy King clocked on 17 of 26 passes for 148 yards for the Huskies.
