Rockford is Seeing the Light at Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens

A while back, I told you that the Rockford Park District was looking for a big volunteer effort to put together what promised to be an astoundingly cool exhibit called "Bruce Munro-Light."

Well, that volunteer effort was a success, and now people all over the Rockford area and beyond are being mesmerized by their efforts with "Light."

The exhibition is Munro’s eighth large-scale garden exhibition in the U.S. The gardens and Conservatory provide a stunning backdrop for eight sculptures, including Munro’s iconic Field of Light and Water-Towers.

"Bruce Munro-Light" opened at Nicholas on June 3rd, and runs through November 5th.
