The Rockford Park District in Illinois is proud to announce their Winter Flurry initiative, which provides a variety of programs, activities, and facilities to experience winter in new and exciting ways. With a fresh snowfall on the ground, the Park District is inviting residents to take part in their latest initiative: building a GLOWman!

Free GLOWman Kits Available

Thanks to a generous donation from Collins Aerospace, the Rockford Park District is giving away 2,000 free GLOWman kits. Collins Aerospace has been a long-time supporter of the Rockford Park District and its Help Me Play program. According to Kristin Smith, Executive Director-Programs for Electric Power Systems at Collins Aerospace, "Building a snowman is a great way to keep youth, teens, and families active and engaged, and provides a safe and creative environment where kids can learn and flourish."
