One Dead In Fatal Rockford Crash

One man is dead following a fatal rollover crash early Sunday morning in Rockford.

According to a press release, officers of the Rockford Police Department responded to the area of South Main and Loomis Street in reference to an accident. Upon arrival they determined a rear-end collision occurred between two vehicles while both were traveling northbound on S. Main. The rear vehicle then rolled over and collided with a pole.

The driver, a 36-year-old Rockford man, was killed in the crash. His name has not yet been released.
