You hate to see it.

Before we get started here, let's get this out of the way. The Louisville cheerleader in question is OK. She was even able to joke about it last night.

Full disclosure, I am NOT a fan of Notre Dame football. The self-righteous smugness (you know who you are) makes me want to see them fail at every turn. Is schadenfreude the best reason to watch sports? No, but it can make it a lot more fun.

The only thing better than seeing their (Heismann candidate?!?!) QB, Ian Book, throw a pass so poorly (yes, I know he was throwing it away, but that's not as funny) that he's taking out spectators was watching their fanbase lose some money.

MANY were saying that Notre Dame only being favored by 18.5 points was taking candy from a baby. You'd be an idiot not to take that bet.

The final score?

That's right. An 18 point victory doesn't cover an 18.5 point spread. Sorry guys.

What's next for Ian Book and the cheerleader? Maybe some passwords could be swapped.

Or maybe this could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Either way, Notre Dame better get back in practice ASAP to get ready for their next powerhouse opponent in their non-conference schedule, which is [checks internet].... New Mexico.

Good luck everyone and Go Lobos!
