The pitcher in question is a friend of Brandon Hyde, the first base coach's, kid.

All I know is that this doesn't look like a team that lost a tough playoff game less than 24 hours earlier. This is a loose team that spent their Sunday at Wrigley watching college football on the big screen and enjoying a catered brunch. These guys are a tested playoff bunch.
