June 9th, 2010, the Chicago Blackhawks won their first Stanley Cup during their 3-cup reign (dynasty? I think you can call that a dynasty) I was at my friend Brian Miller's house. I've never been much of a hockey fan so I was just there for the experience (read: party.)

I like everyone else on the planet other than Patrick Kane, had no idea what had happened. #88 slipped one past the goalie at such an unbelievable angle that it didn't seem possible he could have found a path to the net. But he did and the party shortly followed all over Chicago.

And now for your bonus This Day In Sports History:

June 9, 1999. Bobby Valentine did one of the funniest things to ever happen in a baseball game. Bobby was managing the New York Mets at the time. He got into an argument with the umpire and was tossed out of the game. Bobby returned to the dugout the next inning using sunglasses and a fake mustache as a disguise. He was caught and re-tossed out of the game. Absolute legend.
