An Exciting Week In NIC-10 Football

Hononegah and Auburn remain unbeaten after week six in the NIC-10.

And they are on a collision course for a first-place battle next Friday at Hononegah.

Hononegah in week six had no problem with Belvidere 49-13. Auburn defeated Jefferson 26-8.

Harlem beat Belvidere North 33-18 and East ran over Freeport 34-19. The best game of the week saw Guilford edge Boylan 31-28 in overtime. Ricky Sarmiento booted a 30-yard field goal in the OT to give Guilford the win. Boylan was held on fourth down at the four in overtime. Guilford had also stopped Boylan at the one-yard line on a fake field goal late in the first half.

Auburn. 6-0.

Harlem. 4-2.

East. 4-2.

Guilford. 3-3.

Boylan. 2-4.

Belvidere North. 2-4.
