The RACVB Invites You to “Go Trickford”
We spent some time this morning with our friend Andrea from the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB), who is always chock full of information about the many cool events and activities taking place in and around Rockford. This morning, Andrea told me about a really interesting place to visit online for any and all Cheap Trick fans.
As you may know, the RACVB's website is GoRockford.com. It's a great place to bookmark, especially if you'd like to be plugged into the latest events and happenings in Rockford.
As a way of congratulating our hometown, home-grown rock icons on their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the RACVB has a Cheap Trick themed website that's kind of a play off the RACVB's own website, only this site isn't GoRockford, it's GoTrickford.com.
It's a really well done site, and it's loaded with things for fans of any and every level. You can learn about the individual band members, check out video tributes from some other big names in the music biz, follow the Cheap Trick Fan Trail and see where the band rehearsed, recorded, or just hung out, or take a look at Rick Nielsen's favorite places to visit in Rockford.
If you're a big fan, or know someone who is, GoTrickford.com is a site you'll want to visit.
