It's official, the Cubs are no longer the loveable losers that everyone adored for the past 100 years.

It was bound to happen. Success breeds jealousy and we saw it in full effect with the Dodgers in town.

If you haven't been paying attention, the North Siders have been flashing some serious leather lately.

Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

It's honestly gotten a little ridiculous how good they are defensively.

This brings us to our Dodgers announcers from the other day. They compared the Cubs defensive flair to "bat-flipping" (another thing I have no problem with. Don't want a guy to flip a bat? Don't let him take you yard. Pretty simple.) Now if you watch those two videos all the way to end you can see what they're talking about. Is that standard? No. But these are just some guys having fun PLAYING A GAME and giving their home crowd some extra entertainment.

I don't think the Dodger players had a problem with any of it. I guess we'll see next week when the Cubs go out to LA if anyone gets a fastball in the ribs.

A reminder that you can listen to the Cubs humiliate every opponent all year right here on 1440 WROK.
