Well, they at least brought the essence of Jim to Edmonton.

The Blackhawks played game 3 of their opening round series against the Edmonton Oilers last night. It was played in Edmonton's home arena because that's where one of the two NHL bubbles are located. Even though it was the Oilers place, the Blackhawks were the defacto home team for Game 3 of the best-of-5 series.

What better way to make it feel like the United Center than to have Jim Cornelison blast the national anthem before the puck drops.

And it may have worked! The Hawks went on to capture a 4-3 win in front of no fans to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Kirby Dach, who spent a little time with the Rockford IceHogs this year made some history as well.

The Hawks go for the series win this Friday night at 5:45 PM.
