Stateline Sports Hub NUIC Basketball Rankings for Feb. 16

Four NUIC teams are ranked in the top 10 of the latest AP basketball poll released Feb 14.

East Dubuque (25-2) fell to sixth in the boys rankings after losing their first conference game of the season to Galena.

Three NUIC teams were ranked in the girls poll.

Ashton/Franklin Center was third, Galena was sixth and Eastland made its debut at ninth.

Ashton/Franklin Center plays for the Sectional title while Galena and Eastland collide in another Sectional championship.
