Here in the Rockford area, and around the country, participating Wendy’s restaurants will be offering free croissant breakfast sandwiches during regular breakfast hours only, and there is no purchase necessary. You get to choose from the Sausage, Egg and Swiss Croissant or the Bacon, Egg and Swiss Croissant (Wendy's only other croissant sandwich, the Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant, is not part of this promotion).
