After meeting Danielle Juhre in 2012, it didn't take long to figure out that this mega-talented Hononegah graduate with an incredible voice has a big future waiting.

Danielle's soulful sound has been influenced by the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Mark Ronson, and The Temptations, but unlike other artists who sound like imitations of their idols, Danielle Juhre has a sound that is distinctly her own.

Danielle will be performing on Saturday at the Main Street Market in Belvidere, followed by shows Chicago, Arlington Heights, Madison, Beloit, and then back to Rockford at the Prairie Street Brew House in mid-September. She's also performed for the past couple of years at Milwaukee's Summerfest.

Friday morning, Danielle stopped by the WROK Morning Show for a chat about where her career is going (she's got a new EP coming out very soon), what she'd like to do next, and how she involved some former Hononegah classmates in her latest project.
