Congratulations to everyone on a very exciting Winter Sports season.

We saw state titles, underdog wins, and great competition across all sports from November to March.

We are happy to announce the the final Winter Team of the Week award and $100 Visa Gift Card, courtesy of Rock Valley College, goes to the Rockford Lutheran Boy's Basketball team.

The Crusaders edged out the Hornet hoopers from Scales Mound, who had a heck of a week and season themselves. The Crusaders claimed the honor after securing a Sectional Title with a hard fought win over Rockford Christian on Friday night.

Rockford Lutheran would continue on to the Super-sectionals in Sterling (read about the wonderful facilities they have here.) where their season could come to an end in a thriller against Rockridge.

The Crusaders had a wonderful season and look ready to do the same and more next season.

Thanks to all that voted in our weekly Team of the Week polls. We will now wrap up our Winter Sports Season and crown our Team of the Winter.
