Veterans Invited For Free Lunch at Rockford Restaurant

This likely is the first of many offers for our local veterans and service members to enjoy a free meal on November 11.

Rockford’s Texas Roadhouse has done it for the past three years and once again invites both veterans and active members of U.S. military to enjoy a free lunch on Veterans' Day. Those who take part can choose one of 10 entrees plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, tea or coffee during lunch.

Proof of service includes military or VA card, or discharge papers. It'll take place         Tuesday, November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Rockford Texas Roadhouse located at 7240 Walton Street.

As we say each year it's nowhere near enough to say "thanks" for the service of veterans and current service members. But, hey, a free lunch isn't the worst thing in the world either.
