I'll happily admit that I'm a sucker for vintage film. I love old black & white movies, documentaries, newsreels, and photos, especially if they give you a look at our area's past.
We live in a great age for photography. High definition images (with no film to deal with), drone videos, satellite views, and the fact the almost all of use have a camera with us at all times. Pick out a random teenager (let's use my daughter Molly as an example), and I'd be willing to bet that teen has taken more photos and videos than an entire family (or 10 families) did in generations past.

The TV you see pictured looks a lot like the one my parents had while I was growing up, except ours wasn't quite as "flashy" as this one. I first became aware of "Throwback Thursday" thanks to my wife Amy, and my daughter Molly. Those two routinely post photos from the past on social media, using using a hashtag and "TBT." Being a bit of a dinosaur myself, it took some explaining, but I got it. You've got pictures or video from the past, just gathering dust on your hard drive? It's Throwback Thursday time!
