Saturday, November 26th will be here before you know it, bringing with it one of Rockford's best and most popular events, the 4th annual Stroll on State. Events of this magnitude don't happen by accident. They require lots and lots of planning, cooperation, and a volunteer effort.

Attendance for Stroll on State has increased each and every year, and this year's event will more than likely set a new record. With more things going on than ever before, the Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (RACVB) has put out the word that they would really appreciate it if you, or someone you know, could put in some volunteer time to help make this years Stroll on State be the best one yet.

From the RACVB:

Stroll on State would not happen without the amazing and generous help from all of the volunteers. Volunteers are needed each year to help create decorations, set up decorations, work at the event, and take down the decorations after the new year. Volunteers are needed for the day of Stroll on State on Saturday, November 26! From the early morning, all the way until after the event, volunteers help to make the magic happen!

Here's how to volunteer in 3 easy steps:

  1. Click here to see the Stroll on State volunteer schedule.
  2. Review the options listed, and choose the spot (or spots) you'd like.
  3. Sign up. It's that easy. And, you don't need an account or to keep a password on the sign-up site.
