Stateline High School Golf Sectional Results

The boy's and girl's golf high season ended this week with Sectionals. The state will not be held due to Covid-19.

At the 1A girls, Rock Falls Sectional Rockford Boylan won both the team championship by three strokes with a 344. The Titans also had the Individual champion in Eva Greenberg with a 75. Ella Greenberg shot a 77 for fourth place.

The 3A boys Sectional was Thursday on a cold and windy day at the Mauh-Nah-Tee-See course in Rockford.

The best local finish came from Hononegah sophomore Jack Kitzman who tied for 20th with an 82.

The 2A Freeport boys Sectional at Park Hills Stillman Valley's Tim Marcum finished fourth with a 77.

Dakota finished sixth as a team at the 1A bo Peru St. Bede Sectional. Ian Peterson was sixth with an 82. Dakota won the Conference and their first ever Regional.
