Stateline area girls track and field teams got prepared for next weekend's Sectionals with Conference meets Thursday.

NIC-10 Meet at Auburn.

Harlem won it's first Conference girls track title since 2010.

Harlem was led by freshman Hannah Bilodeau a double champion in the 100 meters in 12.67 and 200 26.13. Catie Daily in the discus 134'8. And the Fare sisters turned in titles. Cloey won the 100 hurdles in 15.79 and Katie in the shot put 41'00.50.

The closest race of the night was in the 1600 when Taylor Frommer of Hononegah (5:16.22 edged Madison Diercks of Belvidere at the finish line. Diercks did win the high jump at 5'2 and run the anchor for the winning 3200-meter relay winning team. Other Belvidere champs were Harley Dahl in the low hurdles in 47.68 and Brooklyn Messenger in the 400 in 1:02.63.

Frommer won the 800 in 2:21.45 and was joined by Hononegah's Kaitlyn Johnson who topped the 3200 meters in 11:37.84.

Guilford had champs in Valerie Daehler who won the long jump 16'6 and Shaniah Johnson the high jump at 5'2. East's Kayla Wells won the pole vault at 9'6.

Big Northern Meet at Oregon.

Host Oregon won their first Big Northern Conference championship in the 25-year history.

They also dethroned Dixon who had won it the last four years. Oregon finished with 126 points as Dixon tied with Winnebago for second with 103.

Oregon won six events including both the 400 and 800 relays with the team of Eliza Easley, Jadyn Bothe, Lydia Cermak, and Erin Schmidt. Cermak also won the long jump. Abigal Hopkins took the 100 hurdles in 16.45, Cynthia Nyderek the triple jump and Brenna Noon the shot put.

Byron had a double champion in Kendra Jackson in the 100 13.12 and 200 27.10.

Winnebago won four events with Natalia Martino in the 1600 meters 5:19.06. Also Grace Baldwin in the pole vault and Miyah Brown in the high jump and Leigha DeRango the discus.

Rock Falls won both the 1600 and 3200 along with Taylor Lippens in the 300 hurdles and Erin Porter in the 800 meters.

Dixon was held to winning just one event with Taylor Renkes taking the 3200. Stillman Valley had a champ with Haylee King in the 400 meters in 1:03.67.

NUIC Meet at Forreston.

Galena/River Ridge/East Dubuque Coop ran up 163 points to win the title ahead of runner-up Milledgeville/Eastland with 124.

Olivia Sturrup was a double champ for Milledgeville/Eastland in the 100 13.25 and 200 26.87. Karlie Krogman won the shot put with a toss of 33'10,

Dakota won two Individual events with Cali Minkie 31'6 in the triple jump and Espy Ruiz the 3200. Pecatonica/Durand's Olivia Robinson won the pole vault.

Galena/RR/ED was led by sprinters Riley Finn, Julie Finazzo and Breya Christopher in the high jump.

Amboy's 1600 meter relay team of Sidney Corcoran, Brooklyn Whelchel, Emma Lundquist, and Ashley Althaus continue to gear up for a run at the State 1600 meter relay title.
