Ever think about becoming a firefighter but not sure you could handle the training? Well, take a look below and find out!

As part of a promotion and graduation ceremony that took place on New Year's Eve, the Rockford Fire Department also released a video highlighting some of the training that the new group experienced over the 15-week fire training academy.

According to Eyewitness News, about a dozen recruits graduated were at the ceremony along with six newly-promoted officers:

Chief Bergsten says the new recruits will be assigned to Rockford's busiest departments during their first year to get the hands-on training they'll need to have a successful career following what's been an unusually busy year for Rockford firefighters.
That includes the blaze at the old Asher Tool Building last January, one of the largest fires in Rockford since the fire department was founded in 1881,
