‘Rockford Reads’ is an Outstanding Program Looking for Volunteers

If you can spare about an hour a week, you can truly make a difference in the life of a Rockford second-grader. All you need to offer is your time, and your ability to read.

Rockford Reads is a literacy project co-sponsored by Rockford Rotary, Rockford Public Schools, and the Rockford Public Library. Right now, Rockford Reads is looking for volunteers. As I mentioned, they only need an hour a week from you, but the dividends from your effort are priceless.
