Every Wednesday the Rockford Library is hosting an awesome virtual event for teens.

If you're not familiar with escape rooms, a short description. A group of people enter a room, usually with a theme, and have to figure out puzzles and riddles to unlock clues and eventually escape the room.

I HIGHLY recommend trying one out in real life once everything gets back to a little more normal. I've done a few with my friends, both real and virtual, and we've had a great time.

This is a good video showing some tips on how to conquer one of these rooms:

The virtual escape rooms are for kids aged 11-18 and participants must pre-register online. Limited seats are available, they cap the room at 10 participants, and "admission" is free.

A new escape room starts every Wednesday at 4PM so make plans now to try it out next week.
