The Rockford Park District is here to help some families through remote learning.

The "R2" Club or Remote Learning and Recreation Club starts September 2nd and gives parents a place to safely drop off their kids for learning enrichment and outdoor activities during remote learning while they go to work.

RockfordParkDistrict - R2 Club is a great place for your children to complete remote learning, as well as participate in enrichment and fun activities with their peers. Outdoor activities will allow for mask breaks as much as reasonably possible. Students should bring a face covering or mask, school-issued chrome book, headphones, lunch, and water bottle each day.

If you're interested you can click on the link above for more info and registration.

The Club is open to kids aged 5-14 and registration is for an entire week. As of now only 3 weeks are scheduled with differing lengths and prices for each week.

They also run two different sites. One at Alpine Hills and another at the Riverview Ice House. Registration is limited so act now if you're interested.
