Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger joined the show this week to discuss the House leadership fight among Republicans that has been unfolding since Speaker John Boehner announced his pending resignation.

But before we talked about that, we asked the Congressman about the accomplishments that conservatives should feel good about since Republicans took over the Senate at the beginning of 2015. Kinzinger told us many good things the House has tried to push through have been bottled up in the U.S. Senate:

On the leadership fight, Kinzinger has been a backer of Rep. Kevin McCarthy for speaker and says he's still the right man for the job:

And despite some rumors that Rep. Peter Roskam of Illinois could be drafted into the Majority Leader position, Kinzinger says he believes his colleague is completely out of the fight at this time:
