Listeners likely know that I have a soft spot for "exotic" animals. Being a ferret owner for the better part of a decade will do that to a person.

Wait, what's that? You want to see pictures of my ferrets? Well, all right. Here's Gally, who died in 2009:

And here's Citrina, who I raised from a baby ferret to a nearly ten-year-old adult until she passed away last year:

I loved this report on Critter Camp from our friend Christie Nicks at Eyewitness News for a couple of reasons. First of all, there's a ferret sighting at about the :18 second mark. Second, you've got a couple of people working their behinds off to help these animals and educate others about the unique responsibilities that go along with having an "exotic." And third, it looks like help could be on the way from a TV show called, "Animal House". Take a look:

From the looks of its Facebook page, I'm still not sure "Animal House" has found a network to air its first season of shows. I'll be rooting for "Animal House" to find a home and in turn help Critter Camp and in turn help the actual critters.
