COVID-19 Test Sites Closed Today Across Illinois

Given the current charged social atmosphere, you might not plan on going out much until things settle down. If you planned on getting a COVID-19 test today, you've got one less reason to head out.

That's because today, Monday, June 1st, all community-based COVID-19 testing centers will be closed. And by all, we mean these:

Harwood Heights
South Holland
Auburn/Gresham/Chatham
Rolling Meadows
East St. Louis
Waukegan
Champaign
Peoria
Aurora
Rockford

As to why the testing sites are closed, no explanation has been offered, but the tweet from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) did draw a few questions and comments.
