Bears Starting Running Back NOT Carted Off Practice Field

The Chicago Bears want to make a clarification.

Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery went down in practice today. It was non-contact. That's not the good kind. Here it is:

Many news outlets then reported that he was carted off the field.

Then Matt Nagy, as you see in the top tweet, wanted to make it clear that he was NOT carted off. Even though, according to Bears reporter Adam Hoge, getting carted off isn't that big of a deal.

Was he? Wasn't he? I don't think we'll ever know.

The Bears are really lucky that baseball is interesting in the area right now because training camp has been less than exciting at Halas Hall.
