Our news partners at WTVO-TV are going all out tonight to assist in the great work done by the Rockford Rescue Mission.

The Mission's annual fundraising telethon, An Evening For Hope, will air tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on WTVO Channel 17. You can tune in to hear stories about lives restored here in the Stateline area.

In the wake of the severe storms and tornadoes nearby, many charity budgets are stretched and many households have given gererously in the past few weeks. However, it only takes one look at the numbers to see the impact the Rockford Rescue Mission has on the community:

 2013 Fiscal Year (October 2012 - September 2013)
• Nights of Lodging: 58,767
• Meals Served: 164,455
• Items Distributed: 159,355
• Counseling Sessions: 10,019
• Hope Clinic Patient Visits: 2,684
