Wisconsin Couple Thought it’d be a Good Idea to Steal Two Fostered Puppies
Animal shelters always need foster families. What they don't need is for foster families to steal the dogs they're caring for.
This mind-blowing story comes from Woof Gang Rescue on Facebook.
According to their about section found on the social media giant, Woof Gang Rescue is a "501c3 non-profit, no-kill volunteer all-breed dog rescue." They sound very much like Rockford's Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary.
Woof Gang Rescue is accusing a couple, who apparently lied and said they were brother and sister, of stealing two super cute puppies they were fostering.
These 2 individuals will not give back the puppies nor will they have any consistant contact with the rescue...Since there is a bit of a difference between Illinois and Wisconsin on laws.. These 2 puppies have been signed over from orginal rescue (that still did still own them, they were never adopted again it was a foster situation) to Woof Gang Rescue in hopes we can get them back!
The post goes on to mention that the couple lives in Cudahy, Wisconsin, about 90 minutes from Rockford, and seemingly have been ignoring calls and requests from the rescue shelter.
While Woof Gang Rescue does mention "WE WANT OUR PUPPIES" they mention later if "you purchased one please know that we are not interested in ripping a puppy out from a loving fantastic approved home we just need to know the whereabouts and to verify safety."
