Who’s really extreme?
The brutal new Washington Post/ABC poll contains some very bad news for the President about Obamacare and his presidency. 55% disapprove of the President's job performance. A majority say he is not honest and trustworthy. 65% oppose the individual mandate in Obamacare and 71% believe it should at least be delayed because of the problems with the rollout.
Plus, as the Washington Post points out
The health-care law has become a political burden for elected officials who support it. Almost four in 10 Americans say they are more likely to oppose a politician who backs the legislation, while just over a fifth say they would be more likely to support such a politician. That’s the biggest gap recorded in Post-ABC polling during the entire debate over the law.
And inside the data I found another interesting point: More people find Democrats (46%) & President Obama (45%) too liberal than find Republicans (43%) & the Tea Party (40%) too conservative. For all the talk from Democrats about GOP hostage-taking and GOP terrorists, it appears more Americans find the President and Democrats out of the mainstream.
Extremists indeed.
