You aren't coughing, sneezing or have a fever, but you might still have the flu.

How so?

If you have a hives like this poor kid.

Throughout this entire flu season I've felt like I can decipher if I have the flu or not, because I had the flu like five years ago.

I remember the feeling that I could hardly stand, and all I wanted to do to is sleep, coupled with those cold-like symptoms and a fever.

But, it turns out there should be a little more you're looking for, especially as a parent, to check for the flu.

This poor kid only had hives when he was tested for the flu and his test came back positive for both Influenza A and Influenza B.

His mother, being a nurse, wanted to share the symptoms with the rest of us in case we find similar hives and don't know where to start with treatment.
