Dear Karens of Illinois, it looks like we all owe you an apology.

I don't usually get caught up in what's trending on social media, but I'll admit to being curious when I saw that H&R Block and TurboTax were trending on Twitter.

Urinating outside, leaving behind garbage, parking where you shouldn't park, then yelling when you're told to move are apparently annoying behaviors to nearby business owners.

People who've lived around this area for a while know that most winters are lengthy, dreary, mostly snowfall-free (lately), and really, really cold. That's just the way it is, and we deal with it. Sure, there's some complaining, but we mostly just soldier on, confident in the knowledge that we'll have a nice two-day Spring, then head into the blast furnace.

In the interests of full disclosure, I'd like to go on the record as saying I have no problem with Jennifer Aniston. She's talented, funny, beautiful, and has lots and lots of money. Does she have more money than me? Absolutely. Tons more. Can she afford to do things that I will never be able to afford...
