Saturday’s ‘Spruce Up Day’ A Winner For Veterans Memorial Circle

Last week we told you about the coming efforts to beautify the area around the North Main and Auburn roundabout, also known as Veterans Memorial Circle.

Today, we can tell you that the Friends of Veterans Memorial Circle, along with a great group of volunteers (many of them veterans) did just what they set out to do.

The area looks great!

The next step in the process is "Rededication Day," this Sunday, May 19th. Organizers want all veterans to show up at 3pm at the big white tent at the northwest corner of the roundabout – and to wear their medals!
