The Park District is here to keep your kids occupied.

Back many, many months ago when the pandemic began, the Rockford Park District started making activity boxes that parents could get for their kids.

Some samples of past items in an activity box include:

  • Grow Your Own Geodes
  • Friendship Bracelets
  • Jump Rope Games
  • Hummingbird Feeder
  • Nature Bingo

Every box came with multiple activities for parents to do with their kids.

Well, they've been pretty successful so they've come out with their Back-To-School edition. This one has a clipboard collage kit, fleece football tie pillow (with games to play with said pillow), and a calming stress ball.

The kits are $25 and go down in price if you purchase multiple kits. You can order them here.

Kits can be delivered to your door for a $3 fee or you can pick them up at Nichols Conservatory and just make that another activity you do with your kids.

Past kits are still available as well if you missed one in the past.
