Rockford Area Golf Courses Will Be Closed Through At Least April 7
Contrary to earlier news, you won't be able to golf during the shelter-in-place.
Earlier this week, Illinois golfers were very excited to see this notice from the Illinois PGA:
To borrow a phrase, that was unfortunately fake news.
They recently corrected their release late last night:
Golf courses are not deemed "essential" businesses, therefore they cannot open during the Governor's shut down.
It's alright, it was just going to rain this weekend anyway.
Since you're going to be stuck in the house a little longer may I suggest you check out Tiger King on Netflix. Craziest thing you'll ever see.
