I haven't hit up this place yet, but a few of my coworkers definitely hype this spot up consistently. SO many Reddit users suggested this spot because of the delicious food and how close it was to Urban Forest for beer haha. Their food sounds amazing -- adding to my bucket list ASAP.

The Olympic Tavern - 2327 N Main Street, Rockford, IL 61103

Another awesome choice I saw thrown around! I've been inside of this place for work, but I have yet to try any of their food. They also, from what I've heard, have some fun events and amazing outdoor dining! I can see why so many people suggest it, and I'm gonna have to try it out now haha!

The Norwegian - 1402 N Main Street, Rockford, IL 61103

This is a Scandinavian restaurant in Rockford, which excites me because I'm Scandinavian! (I guess lol!) So many people labeled this as a 'fantastic place for breakfast.' Their menu has me curious and hungry now. My friend and I have been plotting to go here for a while now, so I'm gonna have to keep pestering if so many are saying it's that good.

Prairie Street Brewing Company - 200 Prairie Street, Rockford, Illinois 61107

OMG you've got to go here just for the cheese curds! I completely agree with the hype I saw about this place. They also have entertainment and gorgeous outdoor dining, which makes it all the more fun. Also, did I mention their cheese curds are ah-ma-zing?!

Haven't been here yet, but holy smokes were people suggesting this like crazy on Reddit. Their social media even has a crazy following too. If a place has this much love, it piques my interest.
