Police: Janesville Man Fires Gun Trying To Take Selfie

Selfies might be an annoying trend for some, but they're rarely dangerous. Enter Logan Douglas of Janesville.

Officials say Douglas was taken into custody after he reportedly fired his gun while trying to take a bathroom selfie:

Logan Douglas, 19, told police that he accidentally shot a round from a shotgun through his bathroom mirror. Police said he was trying to take a selfie at the time.

The round went into the neighboring apartment, but no one was injured.

WISC-TV reports Douglas was arrested on suspicion of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon. There's no word as to how the selfie turned out or if Douglas will be losing the security deposit on his apartment.
