Naperville Sergeant Gets Hero Award for Saving Toddler

A one-year old toddler running alone down Route 59 could have ended tragically if it weren't for veteran Naperville Police Sgt. Anthony Mannino.

Anyone who has kids can tell you about a time when their child somehow managed to give them the slip. Maybe it was in the grocery store, at the mall, or even at home.

That's what happened when a toddler managed to get out of the house before his mom even knew what happened.
