Local Jersey Mike’s Donating 50% of Today’s Sales To Local Charity

Half of all Jersey Mike's proceeds today will be donated to the Rockford Area Arts Council. 

Patch.com - During Jersey Mike’s annual Month of Giving in March, local Jersey Mike’s restaurants invite customers to make a donation to their charity partner. The campaign culminates in the nationwide event, Day of Giving, when local Jersey Mike’s owners and operators donate 100% of sales to local charities.In 2019, the company’s 9th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving in March raised more than $7.3 million for more than 200 charities throughout the country.

Kind of a no brainer for lunch today. Get a good sandwich and effortlessly donate some money to a worthwhile LOCAL charity.

Even if you don't know or really care about the Rockford Area Arts Council (you should, they do great stuff for the community) you should support this effort and other charity events like it in the area.

Every time you support a charity like this it incentivizes local businesses to do it more often. So unless you actively despise the charity in question you should always try to support these events. The karma will come around the next time your group is looking for help raising money.
