Great news for all the little Pete Webers out there, Kids will be able to bowl for free all summer long thanks to the appropriately titled "Kids Bowl Free" program that's simple to sign up for.

If the Pete Weber reference sailed over your head, here's a short video reminding you of the greatness that was Pete Weber from the 1990s and 2000s.

The man was the definition of electric.

And he had a PG-13 celebration. I loved watching Pete Weber.

I'm not saying that your kid will start doing crotch chop celebrations after a little bowling, but I'm also not NOT saying that. Crotch chops can happen anywhere at anytime, you always have to be ready.

But I am saying that your kid can bowl 2 games every day this summer and it won't cost you a cent.

I take that back, it will probably cost you a few bucks at the snack counter, the bowling can be on the house if you take advantage of the Kids Bowl Free program.

The process seems pretty simple. Just sign your child up and you'll be able to access two free bowling passes every day right on your phone.

This video explains it all but it's not complicated, sign up and get free bowling. There doesn't seem to be much more than that.

I was pretty sure that there was going to be a catch like there's only 3 places in the state that honors this but I was wrong. Multiple local bowling alleys are a part of this program including:

  • Forest Hills Lanes - Loves Park
  • Park Lanes - Loves Park
  • Cherry Bowl - Rockford
  • Don Carter Lanes - Rockford
  • Viking Lanes - South Beloit

As well as about 50 more bowling alleys across the state. You can check out the full list here.

One more thing you can do with your kids this summer and this one's FREE. Doesn't get much better than that.
