Kicker Uses Ref’s Head for Bank Shot FG

Unfortunately, football referees have been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. A couple of incidents where the refs have been targeted for a hit by players on the field have resulted in suspensions, expulsions, and even the threat of arrest for those who did the hitting.

This, however, is a different type of referee-gets-hit story.  Midland Lee kicker Luis Aranda lined up for an extra point in the second quarter on Friday, but his kick didn't go quite the way he planned:
