
Jefferson rolling in boys summer league basketball
The Jefferson J-Hawks finished the regular season portion of the East Summer League a perfect 6-0 after knocking off Guilford and Auburn Monday night.
Jefferson knocked off its six opponents, which includes Winnebago and Lutheran in week one and East and Belvidere in week two, by a combined score of 314 to 206.
The loss to Jefferson was the only one for Auburn, which went 5-1, while Hononegah went 5-1 as well.
The league wraps up next week with a two-day tournament Monday and Tuesday night.

The girls summer league is taking place at Harlem with week three's games tonight and Thursday. Boylan, the defending NIC-10 champion, is the only remaining undefeated team through two weeks of play.
