This wasn't Joe Maddon's first ejection nor will it be his last, but it was the most understated ejection I've ever seen.

You can watch the whole thing unfold in the video above. However, MLB are a bunch of jerks that like to scrub the internet of their videos so if you can't see the above video, here's a quick slideshow of the highlights.

Home plate umpire Mike Estabrook is warning Joe that he's about to cross the line.

Here's Joe pleading his case to another ump about the strike call. It obviously fell on deaf ears.

Now Estabrook is literally pleading with Joe not to leave the dugout. I've never seen such concern on an umpire's face about having to eject someone.

Joe says "eff it! I'm cold. I don't want to be here anymore."

"oh man, I'm not in the mood to deal with this right now"

I need a GIF of this ejection mechanic. I've thrown out my gum with more force than Estabrook used to give Joe the heave-ho.

This is probably the most "disrespectful" moment of the ejection. Estabrook breaks eye contact with Joe and then Joe bends down to reinitiate eye contact. Honestly, I don't really know who's being "rude" here but I've had more animated conversations with a toll booth operator.

The facial expression from Estabrook here screams "Are you done?"

Joe walking away from the incident wondering what kind of wine he has back in the office.

Some are saying that Joe intentionally got ejected to fire up his team. If that's the case then Joe did a HORRIBLE job. I'm pretty sure Joe was just cold and didn't want to be out there anymore.

To contrast Joe getting the boot, here's Lou Pinella's first ejection as Cubs manager.

The guy was kind of a jerk but man could he put on a show.
