The (unofficial) captain of the Cubs needs to find more room in his house for another trophy.

We knew Rizzo won the Gold Glove last year but it was nice to see him "honored" at Wrigley last night. Anthony even acknowledged the non-existent fans.

Here are all the MLB trophies that Anthony Rizzo has collected during his career:

  • World Series Title
  • 3x All-Star
  • 3x Gold Glove
  • Platinum Glove
  • Silver Slugger
  • Roberto Clemente Award

Knowing Rizzo, he's probably most proud of the Clemente Award since it's given to the player that "best exemplifies the game of baseball, sportsmanship, community involvement and the individual's contribution to his team." In other words "an awesome guy."

Cubs continue to fight for the 2020 season. Currently 3 games up on the Cardinals in the NL Central and looking to make a push for the postseason.

A reminder that you can catch every Cubs game right here on 1440 WROK.
