This landmark was the sign that it was your last chance to pee before leaving Chicago or getting stuck in traffic heading in or out of the city.

Now it's looking like it could be torn down and soon.

WGN shares that after nearly 60 years the familiar sight of the O'hare Oasis that bridged 294 in Schiller Park is being consider to be demolished.

The Tollway board will be meeting on Thursday to discuss if they should move forward with the "plan to demolish the O’Hare Oasis in Schiller Park as part of the ongoing Interstate 294 expansion project."

The fate of this Oasis is in their hands at this point.

Will it follow the demise of the former Des Plaines Oasis?

It was torn down four years after hovering proudly over the Jane Adams Memorial Tollway for years.

We'll have to wait and see.
