Calling all dare devils, you've got to see this Illinois suspension bridge.

Do you know someone who is a total thrill seeker? Someone who makes you clench your fists and grind your teeth because they are so risky? Maybe that's you! Either way, you've got to hear about this Illinois suspension bridge.

Personally, I don't like driving over bridges. I've always closed my eyes when passing over one. If I'm driving over one, my whole body tenses. So I'm not sure if I'd be able to walk across this bridge.

It's the Rock Creek Suspension Bridge at Kankakee State Park and according to UPI its considered one of the tallest pedestrian suspension bridges in the state, it hovers approximately 75 feet above the creek while its length is also around 75 feet.

It's located along a Kankakee trail that is a 21 mile distance round trip. So if you're someone who loves getting out in Illinois' nature, this is perfect.

OIS details -

With 4,000 acres spanning across both sides of the Kankakee River, the park is open to many recreational activities throughout the year including hiking, biking, fishing, cross-country skiing, camping, boating, horseback riding, and more. It’s quite a scenic destination with trails that are accessible for both strollers and wheelchairs, canyons, a river, and a suspension bridge that spans across a creek.

If you're up for the bridge adventure, you'll score some cool views. From atop the bridge, you will be treated to panoramic views of the limestone canyons along the creek as well as a gorgeous waterfall. There's a ton of parking available so if you're not up for the hike and just wanting to check out the bridge you can get nice and close.
